Pod Nannies keep our cars clear of snow in the winter. This very important, seasonal position begins around December and usually ends in March. Outreach Specialists help us spread the word about CarShare Vermont at a variety of fun seasonal events. There are plenty of opportunities to get out and show your love of car-sharing, including campus events, parades, festivals, and more. It’s a great way to get involved with your community while doing good at the same time.
Poster-hanging Pros staple, tape, and tack CarShare Vermont posters wherever possible. This is the perfect role for you if you want to volunteer, but don’t have much time. A 30-minute walk around town is all it takes.
Neighborhood Ambassadors promote CarShare Vermont in their neighborhoods by occasionally distributing brochures, posting flyers, keeping us updated on neighborhood events, and serving as our liaisons on Front Porch Forum and other community-based listservs. We are currently looking for Ambassadors in all Burlington neighborhoods.
Party Hosts have all the fun! Invite your friends and neighbors over to learn more about CarShare Vermont. We’ll join the festivities to answer questions, share stories, and meet your gang.
