**Please note: Carrying persons or property for hire (i.e., taxi, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, or other delivery services) is not a permitted use of our vehicles.

Campus Membership FAQs

To be eligible for our Campus plan, you must meet CarShare Vermont’s standard membership requirements as well as the following:

• Be enrolled as a full-time student or employed on a full-time basis at Champlain College or the University of Vermont (not including UVM Medical Center).

• Not hold a campus parking permit.

Please note that faculty and staff are welcome to add family members to their account at a cost of $25/year for each additional driver.

Yes. All full-time campus affiliates who continue to meet the eligibility requirements may renew on an annual basis. Feel free to contact us with any questions or to determine your eligibility for renewal.

Students, faculty, and staff have access to our entire fleet of vehicles, on campus and off. We currently have two vehicles on the UVM campus (Doug & Stella), three at Champlain College (Hope, Simon & Usain), and several more within walking distance of both institutions.

Our discounted Campus plan is only available on an annual basis. For the flexibility of a monthly plan, consider our Individual & Household plans.
