Chase Street Zone
CarShare Vermont has closed its pod at Bayberry Commons to develop a new location off of Colchester Avenue. With no dedicated parking spot for the CSVT vehicle, the new Chase Street Zone works a little different than our other car locations.
Members with a reservation in Ruth will find the car parked on the street in the zone pictured above. The Zone stretches along Chase Street, from Colchester Avenue to Barrett Street, in the Old East end neighborhood.
When returning the car to finish a reservation, Ruth must be parked:
- Within the zone, so the next user can find the car easily
- With the direction of traffic (on Chase Street, that means pointing west – in the direction of Colchester Avenue)
- Legally. No one likes a blocked driveway. As always, members are responsible for parking violations.
If there are no parking spots on Chase Street, please call us for instructions! This is a valid use of the emergency line number (802-999-2006), which is staffed on nights and weekends.
