Upcoming Rate Changes

On October 1, 2025, we will be updating our driving rates across all membership plans:

Here’s what’s changing:

• Hourly rates will increase by $1.00
• Daily rates will increase by $10.00
• Late-night rates will be discontinued (50% off between 10PM-6AM)

Mileage rates, late fees, and membership fees will remain the same for now, but we are exploring additional updates in the coming year, which may include new membership options.

At CarShare Vermont, our mission-driven team works hard to keep our service as affordable as possible while maintaining the quality and reliability you count on. This is our first rate adjustment in over three years, even as the costs of acquiring, maintaining, and insuring our vehicles have continued to rise. These changes are necessary to ensure we can sustain and grow our community-based carsharing organization.

We remain committed to providing you with the best possible service at the most reasonable cost—and to advancing our nonprofit mission of creating a more accessible and sustainable transportation system.
