When you need a car, CarShare Vermont is the most fun and affordable way to get around town with low hourly and mileage rates that include FREE gas and insurance. There are no minimum monthly driving commitments—you only pay for how much you drive.

We offer two membership plans for individuals with different car-sharing needs: one for people who will share pretty regularly (at least 8 hours per month) and one for those who will just share on occasion.

 

Both Plans

• $30 application fee per person (so we can check your driving record)
  
• FREE gas and premium insurance included

 

Share-a-Lot

• $15 monthly membership fee (or save $30 by paying $150 for the year)
• Add up to 4 drivers to your account and save more by sharing the monthly fee
• $4.95 an hour
• 25¢ per mile
• $49 day rate (24 hours), plus only 15¢ per mile

 

Share-a-Little

• $5 monthly membership fee (or save $10 by paying $50 for the year)*
• Add up to 4 drivers to your account and save more by sharing the monthly fee
• $6.95 an hour
• 25¢ per mile
• $69 day rate (24 hours), plus only 15¢ per mile
