Individual rates
CarShare Vermont offers two affordable membership plans for individuals. For folks who need to drive at least five hours per month, including an occasional day trip, the Share-a-Lot plan is your best bet. For those who need a car only once in a while and will rarely travel out of town, the Share-a-Little plan is a better fit.

There is a one-time $30 application fee per driver (so we can check your driving record). Up to 5 individuals can share one account; the application fee applies to each additional driver.

Gas There’s a gas card in every car, fill up on us.
Insurance You and your passengers are covered by premium auto insurance.
Parking You’ll have a dedicated parking spot at the end of every trip.
Roadside assistance If you break down, our emergency service will help you 24/7.
Ways to carry your stuff Many of our cars have bike and ski racks; and when you need more cargo space, borrow our truck.
Member perks Being a CarShare Vermont member comes with a lot of discounts.
CarShare Vermont strives to keep our service affordable and accessible to as many people as possible. If our standard rate plans are out of reach, you may be eligible for our MobilityShare program which offers financial assistance to income qualifying individuals and families.
